Benny's is currently looking for a full-time maintenance technician to join our team!
Benny’s Maintenance Department (technicians, engineers, director and other staff) is responsible for performing preventative maintenance, installations, demolitions and repairs on the Benny's locations in a timely and cost-effective manner that facilitates our ability to serve our customers. The Maintenance Department is highly attentive to detail, able to quickly solve problems and coordinate well with Benny's management teams.

HVAC Certification & Experience Required
Coolers, freezers, and air conditioner experience is required
Responsibilities
Performs regular and preventive maintenance on Benny's car wash, oil change and convenience store equipment. This would include but not be limited to work on car wash equipment, lighting systems, air/water dispensers, signage, minor building repair, painting, plumbing, landscaping and irrigation.
Reviews, inspects and analyzes electronic and mechanical issues on a regular basis. If possible, repairs and/or corrects items while on site. If the issue lies outside capabilities and/or require materials not on site, identifies solutions and communicates by submitting or responding to a work ticket.
Work with and manage outside vendors as needed or as instructed by the Maintenance Director.
Maintains work tickets on a daily basis to be able to communicate status and timeline for completion, as well as changed priorities.
Regular contact with Maintenance Director to agree on priorities and schedule
Coordinates activities with site management to ensure all parties are informed of what is happening, when, and why.
Communicates daily with Area, General and Store Manager(s) and is able to explain technical issues to non-technical people.
Maintains company provided assets, including company vehicle and all tools and equipment.
Perform all tasks in a safe and environmentally responsible manner and in compliance with rules, procedures, and regulations. Is aware and maintains all OSHA regulations
Transports and transfers equipment to and from company and other locations as needed.
Must have and maintain a clean driving record.
Provide necessary paperwork in a timely, efficient, and effective manner.
Handle hazardous material wearing provided PPE and following safety guidelines in place.
Other duties as requested by Maintenance Director.
Capabilities
Able to lift up to 50 lbs. Weights over 35 lbs. and at heights above the shoulder or head may be required to be lifted on an occasional basis and should be with the assistance of another worker. Lifting occurs occasionally during a typical 8-10 hour workday.
Be able to work on ladders and in tight spaces.
Able to demonstrate proper lifting, pushing, and reaching techniques.
Skilled to safely use a variety of power tools
Able to handle basic computer skills
Some maintenance positions may require use of a forklift.
