JOB SUMMARY
-Production Assistants are responsible for assisting in manufacturing quality products and maintaining a clean,
safe work place for the team. High level of accuracy along with the ability to multitask in a fast paced environment
are required.

◆ ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
All work place in the production including warehouse, measuring, kettle, powder, liquid filling, packaging,
production system, and entire plant system-related work will be your duties, however, mostly you will be joining
in one or two work places. Work, assist and help all production under upper management instructions and
directions in accordance with production schedule.
Maintain, repair, install machines or equipment, and perform other related work.
All machines need to be maintained properly and regularly. Also, the company will install or replace new
machines. Assist or conduct maintenance, repairing, installation and related work under instructions of upper
management. If any suspicious or strange things happen during operation, immediately report it to proper person
including managers, supervisors, and leaders. All works have to be done under upper management’s instruction.
Safety
Follow and comply with food, health and occupational safety procedures.
Follow and comply with company established procedures and policies.
Aid in prevention and reduction of food safety hazard.
Immediately report safety hazards.
Attendance
Everyone needs to come every day except for proper reasons in order to run the production timely and properly.
Arrives to work station on time, appropriately groomed, dressed and ready to work
Cleanliness and preparing
Keep your work place clean and organized using proper items and detergents always.
After production, everything must be set back to a basic condition.
Clean workspaces and equipment to meet health and safety standards.
Prepare for next day according to production schedule.
Landry, flag duty, throwing away trash and cleaning bathrooms in accordance with duties.
Record
Everybody has a responsibility to fill out documents including SQF-related documents, production check sheets,
and so on.
Warehouse
Check, verify, pick and pull products listed on the shipping order.
Receive, unload, and store incoming inventory items and deliveries.
Organize and rotate inventory from oldest to newest.
Manage documents necessary for shipment in a timely manner.
Examine incoming and outgoing shipments.
Use and conduct maintenance forklift, pallet jack including electronic, walkie stacker and equipment.
Monthly inventory check of NB products.
Other warehouse-related work.
Measuring
Ensures product production is performed using correct measuring devices and all recipes are followed.
Select and measure accurate ingredients necessary for each production.
Update specified forms for new lot of ingredients.
Maintain and separate all allergens apart from non-allergenic ingredients.
Confirm all selected and measured ingredients are accurate for each lot before Kettle team proceed to production.
Monthly inventory check of raw materials.
Use and do maintenance all measuring machines and equipment.
Other measuring-related work.
Kettle
Set up all machinery in the morning before production begins.
Inspect and test all machines and equipment for accurate operations including tank yard’s equipment.
Feed, mix, and heat ingredients correctly in a kettle in accordance with check sheets.
Clean kettles, machines, pumps, and other equipment after each production and at end of the day.
Other packaging-related work.
Packaging
Assemble packing boxes and package finished products into packing boxes.
Stack filled boxes onto respective pallets.
Use forklift, pallet jack including electronic, and walkie stacker to push pallets to the stretch wrap machine.
Fill and refill bottles as needed in the bottle unscramble.
Label and arrange box for next day’s production schedule.
Monthly inventory check of packaging machines and equipment.
Use and do maintenance all packaging machines and equipment.
Monthly packaging material inventory check.
Other packaging-related work.
Liquid filling and powder (0.5gal, small pouch, retail, and BIB)
Set up all machinery in the morning before production begins.
Inspect and test all machines and equipment for accurate operations.
Fill, cap, seal, sterilize, cool, label and inspect a product correctly in accordance with check sheets with using
machines
Clean machines, pumps, and other equipment after each production and at end of the day.
Use and do maintenance all liquid filling and related machines and equipment.
Monthly packaging material inventory check.
Other liquid filling-related work.
Production system
Make and update production schedule for NB and PB products.
Order and manage raw materials, packaging materials, and production items to be proper inventory as a
purchasing point.
Enter production schedule in NAV, and prepare production check sheets and labels.
Process PO and invoices.
Safety training for new comers.
If needed, contact the NAV system vendor.
Contact all production-related vendors to ask them something if needed.
Maintain the facility to be normal.
Manage the facility related permissions.
Monthly bulks, products and all materials inventory check management.
Involve in all maintenance, repairing, installation, and related work as a main person.
Other system-related work.
Others
Follow “Production 101.”
Suggest your ideas to your upper management.
Not limited to the above. Need to follow your supervisors or upper management.
◆ SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY
Not supervisory, but need to instruct new employees of production, and give guidance and train to them.
◆ Qualifications, Education, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Preferred: Previous experience in food industry or manufacturing/production environment
Preferred: Knowledge of GMP
High school diploma/GED required
Legally authorized to work in the U.S.
Ability to read, write and speak English fluently
Reliable transportation
Ability to use MS Office Suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook) and Windows operation system.
Basic calculation skills (Addition, multiplication, subtraction, division)
High level of accuracy and attention to detail
Ability to listen, follow and execute instructions
Solid communication and time management skill
Strong work ethic: motivated team player
Ability to work under pressure
Ability to work in an area with loud machinery
Ability to accurately count and measure products and ingredients
