SUMMARY: Operate and maintain assigned line to maintain safety, quality and productivity. Including such activities as prepping for roll production, doffing rolls, packaging rolls, line start-ups, operational maintenance and cleaning.
1. Completes responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and procedures, and applicable laws.
2. Actively participate in risk assessment activities for their area of responsibility.
3. Actively participate in incident investigations, root cause analysis and support implemented corrective actions.
4. Participate in safety observation programs as required.
5. Create and maintain a team effort attitude and team approach within the department and plant,
6. Operate and Maintain Line to established standards
7. Meet productivity standards
8. Understand and fully utilize all ISO procedures.
9. Complete required documentation such as: patrols, housekeeping sheets, doff quality coding, etc.
10. Troubleshoot issues with quality or productivity related to the team or the machine
11. Make adjustments to machinery as needed.
12. Suggest improvements to processes or procedures
13. Coordinate with lab personnel, Team Leader and Engineering for issues and improvements
14. Perform 6S and other housekeeping duties required for clean and safe work environment
15. Train others as needed
16. Additional duties as assigned
Education (Degree/Major): High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
Work Experience: 1-3 years manufacturing experience preferred. Lift Truck experience preferred
