Lake Air Products has two exciting openings to join our growing sales team! We are seeking an Account Manager to manage our established accounts at both our New Hope and Coon Rapids locations. We are seeking candidates that have experience in metal manufacturing or medical equipment sales! Purpose
The Account Manger prospects, maintains and expands relationships with strategically important customers and/or market segments. The Account Managers are responsible for achieving sales quotas, profitability and business development objectives.
Safety

• Promptly correct or reports safety hazards, injuries or unsafe conditions.
• Make practical safety suggestions so support continuous improvement in safety.
Responsibilities
Account Manager,
• Meet assigned profitable sales volume and strategic objectives for assigned accounts.
• Management of Customer Terms targeting the Company standards.
• Monitors and Manages the Customer scorecard in regards to On-time Delivery and quality expectations.
• Establishes productive & professional relationships with key personnel in customer accounts.
• Maintains account information in the company ERP & CRM system. This would include forecasting of Revenue, company address, key contacts, phone number, mobile phone number, email address and information important to the management of the account.
• Manages quoting process to include solicitation of RFQ’s, setting up quotes in company ERP system, reviewing finished quotes to validate profitability with-in the company standards and submitting to customer within the required timeframe. Following up with customer and closing opportunity. Bringing disposition to all outstanding quotes.
• Complete customer communications information in CRM and/or sales funnel.
• Coordinates the involvement of company personnel, including support services and management resources, in order to meet account performance objectives and achieve customer performance expectations.
• Travel as required including overnight stays.
“Sr.” Account Manager, Includes all Account Manager Responsibilities and includes,
• Proactively assesses, clarifies, and validates customer needs on an ongoing basis. Leads solution development efforts that best address customer needs.
• Develop account or market penetration strategy that leads to achievement of established corporate revenue and profit generation. Review strategy with sales management.
• Deploy established strategy and report progress to sales management.
• Contact and work to obtain new opportunities & accounts that are in alignment with our business strategy.
• Review CRM and/or sales funnel information for trending, data review and setting of metrics.
• Leverage all Lake Air capabilities within the accounts to upsell additional services and secure new programs.
• Ability to provide technical support & direction to our customers and operate within the engineering groups.
“Key” Account Manager, Includes all “Sr.” Account Manager Responsibilities and includes,
• Strategic sales direction with-in Customer focus using the sales funnel based on market segments working directly with Account Managers
• Support and management of Sister / Subsidiary accounts when applicable based on strategic growth.
• Full Risk management of all customers include those managed by Sr. Account managers and Account Managers.
• AOP (Annual Operational Planning) Target and forecasting with-in customer segments to achieve the strategic sales goals year over year. Updated Quarterly.
• Sales Department Management. This including daily work expectations, staffing needs and sales focused results.
Accountabilities and performance measures
• Achieves assigned sales quotas in assigned accounts and strategic markets
• Achieves assigned expectations for profitable revenue generation
• Meets assigned account / market objectives defined by company management
• Establish and meet account specific growth plan
• Establish and meet market specific growth plan
• Proper use of company CRM & Quoting modules with ERP system
Preferred Qualifications
• 5 + years previous sales experience in a manufacturing environment
• Ability to interpret sales metrics and forecasts
• Ability to lead other sales employees
• Associates or Bachelor degree in Business, Engineering, or equivalent.
• Excellent communications skills
Sr. Account Manager
• 10 + years previous sales experience in a manufacturing environment
• Demonstrated experience growing large accounts revenue & profit
