Purpose
The Assembler is required to follow prints and directions to assemble parts and subassemblies. Perform other production tasks as required. The Assembler works to achieve the quality and delivery goals of the company.
Responsibilities
Prepares work to be accomplished by studying assembly instructions, blueprint specifications, and parts lists, gathering parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials.
Organizes parts and subassemblies for efficient assembly process.
Examines parts for proper fit.
Verifies specifications by measuring completed component/product.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent
2-5 years varied finishing experience preferred
Excellent people skills, with an ability to partner with a dynamic leadership team
Personal qualities of integrity, credibility, and a commitment to the mission
Flexible and able to multi-task; can work with an ambiguous, fast-moving environment, while also driving toward clarity and solutions; demonstrated resourcefulness in setting priorities and guiding investment in people and systems
Bend and lift, loading and unloading work pieces on to pallets, and move from one workstation to another, alternately sitting and standing
Lift objects up to 50 pounds throughout the day.
Perform repetitive work more than 10 hours per day, including weekends.
Read fine print and distinguish colors.
Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
