Pavement Marking Tech I positions require that applicants be at least 21 years of age and possess a valid Texas driver's license. Unfortunately, we do not currently have positions that do not require a license. This position requires frequent overnight travel. Must be able to lift 50lbs or more.

Duties and Responsibilities of the Pavement Marking Tech I are:

Arrive at designated location prepared to work at the beginning of the shift
Meet daily production goals
Follow work instruction to ensure consistent product quality, and safety
Feed 50LB bags of thermoplastic into kettle
Perform handwork including: elimination of pavement marking and buttons, placement of hot tape and buttons
Operate grinders, hand grinders, brooms, blowers and weed burners
Operate fork lift on site for loading and unloading
Notify Pavement Marking Crew Chief of any quality or safety related concerns
Demonstrate initiative by evaluating situations, making decisions based on facts and solid judgments
Perform other duties as required by the Pavement Marking Crew Chief
