Production Supervisor

OPPORTUNITY
The primary purpose of this position is to ensure internal and external customer satisfaction in an efficient and cost-effective manner, by performing the duties necessary for safe and efficient production and filling.
This is a 3rd shift position; hours are Sunday-Friday from 10:00pm-6:30am
As Production Supervisor, primary responsibilities include:
Complete and follow up on all incident and accident investigations.
Review daily production activities to meet customer requirements.
Initiate process changes to improve production efficiency.
Implement and maintain good housekeeping practices.
Complete training for all direct reports and assure new employees receive required training.
Follow up and documentation for customer complaints.
Manage overtime budget.
Identify and implement cost reduction opportunities.
Assure timely response to customer issues as they pertain to tech production.
Motivate compliance to all SOP’s. Develop and update new and existing SOP’s.
Possess knowledge of Hydrite’s work, safety, and regulatory rules.
Guides employee performance and development through the use of daily communication and annual performance evaluations.
Perform all duties outlined in relevant SOPs and all other duties to be assigned.
Backfill into production as necessary.
Active member of the emergency response team.
Trainer for specified Regulatory Health and Safety required training.
Works with all departments within the plant including production, warehouse, customer service, and branch buyer.
REPORTING STRUCTURE
This position reports to the Tech Room Manager.
EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATIONAL CRITERIA
High school diploma or equivalent required. A Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent is preferred.
Management or Lead operator experience preferred.
Chemistry and Engineering background recommended.
Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills required.
Strong computer skills and knowledge of Power Point, Word, and Excel required.
Must have communication and interpersonal skills, along with the ability to read, write, and speak English.
