Job Summary:
The Claims Processor is responsible for processing payments for service repairs completed,
issuing payments to multiple suppliers/vendors as well as auditing each invoice and claim to
ensure approval has met standards and are within the contract guidelines
Responsibilities & Duties
• Assists servicers/customers by providing the highest level of service when requesting
status of claim or payment status.
• Be polite and professional when speaking to a caller, builds a positive rapport with a
variety of personality types.
• Receives inbound calls from customers or service centers to resolve claim payment
disputes claim statuses.
• Delivers superior service utilizing problem solving skills to supply accurate information to
callers and service centers to resolve their issues.
• Ability to solve problems and deal with a variety of complex situations where limited
regulation exists.
• Researches, responds and resolves callers issues in a timely fashion.
• Retrieved information from our systems and communicates information back to the caller
in a clear and educated manner.
• Possesses the ability to settle payment disputes with management approval.
• Resolves escalations within authority limits to insured and claimants.
Education, Experience, & Skills
• 1+ year's minimum experience (Required)
• High School Diploma or GED (Required)
• Some college (Preferred)
• Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office (Required)
• Ability to work independently; good collaboration skills; ability to take and correctly
interpret instructions; managing priorities and meeting deadlines; adjusting priorities;
organization issues
• Possess strong work ethics, organizational, and time management skills
• Possess above average written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to multi-task and change priorities as required to accommodate business needs
• Higher level of proficiency in MS WORD for Windows 6.0 and Excel
• Respectable organizational telephone skills and must be detail oriented.
