Responsibilities
• Acts as liaison between the district associates, vendors, and the corporate offices to identify and resolve IT-related problems and issues.
• Sets up, breaks down, and properly stores field operations PC equipment/inventory.
• Provides hardware and software phone support, as well as on-site support for answering inquiries regarding computer software or hardware operation.
• Enters commands and observes system functioning to verify correct operations and detect errors.
• Install and perform minor repairs to hardware, software, or peripheral equipment, following design or installation specifications.
• Maintains regular communication and documentation on technology support issues for the appropriate parties, including, but not limited to the Assistant District Manager, District Manager, and Technology Managers.
• Maintains hot spare tracking and control for computer equipment.
• Generates various reports.
Requirements
• High School Diploma/ GED, or equivalent related business experience. Course of study in Information Technology preferred.
• Previous experience with Windows 95/98/2000; DOS, network configurations, and MS Office required.
