Staff Accountant

Reporting to the Senior Accountant, the Staff Accountant contributes to the overall success of
the organization by effectively managing all finance and accounting functions for Driven
including but not limited to accounts payable, accounts receivable, budgeting, forecasting,
reporting, and cash management. The Staff Accountant maximizes the organization’s return on
financial assets by establishing financial policies, procedures, and controls, and ensures
regulatory compliance for all accounting and financial reporting functions.

Primary Responsibilities:
• Implements and oversees all accounts, ledgers, and reporting systems ensuring
compliance with appropriate GAAP standards and regulatory requirements.
• Protects assets by establishing, monitoring, and enforcing internal controls and
safeguards for receipt of revenue, costs, budgets, and actual expenditures.
• Consistently analyzes financial data and presents financial reports in an accurate and
timely manner; clearly communicates monthly, quarterly, and annual financial
statements; monitors progress and changes and keeps senior leadership abreast of the
organizations’ financial status.
• Guides financial decisions by establishing, monitoring, maintaining, and enforcing a
documented system of accounting policies and procedures.
• Oversees all financial operations of the organization; ensures that accounts payable are
paid in a timely manner; ensures that accounts receivable are collected promptly.
• Reconciles bank and investment accounts.
• Manages the cash flow and prepares cash flow forecasts in accordance with policy.
• Assists in the annual budgeting and planning process; administers and reviews all
financial plans and compares to actual results with a view to identify, explain, and
correct variances as appropriate.
• Completes and oversees company payroll along with calculating quarterly bonus and
commissions.
• Maintains professional, ethical, and company standards at all times
