The Role
Our consultants are highly trained specialists who love nothing more than creating itineraries that will provide lifelong memories, while offering the highest level of service and sales support. We are looking for people passionate about not only their destination, but who also strive to build unique custom itineraries focusing on our core values; sustainability; responsible travel; wildlife and authentic cultural experiences.
Key responsibilities will include:
Work together with our travel agent partners and guests providing consistent high levels of sales and service support
Address queries in an efficient manner in a multi-channel contact center environment
Service our customers from start to finish, organizing everything from flights, tours, pre and post accommodation and everything in between
Consistently meet and exceed sales and service targets
Maintain a high level of systems, destination, and product knowledge, completing all relevant training updates
Address agent and customer issues in an appropriate manner, escalating as required
Take note of customer and agent feedback and relay to management to assist in the continuous improvement process
Work a flexible roster including Saturday when required
The Candidate
Your passion for travel gained through personal experience and knowledge and ability to relay this to our guests is essential for your success. You’ll be an excellent communicator and building strong relationships will come naturally.
You will also;
Bring strong experience working in a service-based role in a sales driven environment with results to match
Demonstrate strong destination knowledge and/or a passion for destination and willingness to learn
Display high level of organizational skills and ability to manage conflicting priorities
Possess a flexible approach to work with changing demands along with a solution focused mindset
Be proficient across the Microsoft suite and have the ability to pick up new systems with ease
Candidates with FIT working knowledge and experience will be highly regarded.
