Asahi Refining Florida, LLC has a full time Metal Control Technician position available.
• Starting Pay $17.00 per hour, plus Quarterly Bonus
• $500 Sign-on Bonus (half paid after 3 months, the other half after 6 months)
• Available Shifts: 1st and 2nd Shifts
• 1st Shift – Day Shift, M-F
• 2nd Shift – Afternoon Shift M-F, 3:00PM – 11:30PM with additional $1.00/hour Shift differential.

• Must have reliable attendance.
Job Purpose:
The Metal Control Technician assists the Metal Control Supervisor with receiving and shipment of materials in the metal control environment, keeps track of all materials, orders, and required documentation for receiving and releasing.
This position has the following responsibilities:
• Forklift operation
• Product packaging
• Product weighing
• Shipment prep
• Incoming Freight receipt
• Outbound Freight shipment
• Inventory Control
• Order staging/prep (select inventory for shipment)
• Documentation prep/accountability
• Sign for incoming shipments
• Internal materials transfer
• Department Supply management
• Ability to perform a variety of physical activities (e.g., pushing, pulling, bending, squatting, grabbing, carrying, climbing, crawling, walking, standing).
• Ability to identify and recommend improvements.
• Accurate data entry.
Qualifications for this position are:
• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Basic mathematical skills.
• Basic skills with Microsoft Excel
• Capable of lifting 45lbs
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Must be able to read and understand work instructions.
• Able to work well with employees at all levels as well as vendors.
• Must be detail oriented.
