Duties and Responsibilities

Maintain department 5S requirements.
Ensure proper flow of raw materials and finished goods to and from the line to ensure smooth operation.
Actively contribute toward a safe work environment.
Balance productivity goals while maintaining a quality product.
Demonstrate problem solving and decision-making ability.
Participate in continuous improvement programs.
Interact with co-workers to exchange information about tasks and to coordinate work.
Interact with supervisors to receive work instructions.
Maintain clean work area and perform machine and equipment maintenance as instructed by team leads and management.
Other duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Experience
Minimum of one (1) year of manufacturing experience preferred.
Basic computer and math skills.
Good communication skills, both written and oral.
Ability to estimate appropriate amount of material to load into a machine.
Ability to solve production issues as they arise, such as conveyer belt shutdowns, etc.
Ability to follow priorities set by supervisors and sequence tasks within a set framework. Tasks are generally repetitive.
Ability to interact with co-workers to exchange information about tasks and to co-ordinate work.
Ability to interact with supervisors to receive work instructions.
Desire & ability to learn continuously on the job.
Excellent attendance and punctuality required.
Ability to work independently, as well as, in a team environment.
Academic / Educational Requirements
High school diploma, GED or equivalent experience is preferred.
Working Conditions
Ability to lift at least 50 lbs.
Ability to work in varying temperatures inside the facility.
Must be able to work overtime as needed.
Must be able to move throughout all areas of the plant as required to perform duties.
Must be able to spend 100% of the time on the production floor in a manufacturing environment.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
