Tekberry is looking for highly qualified and motivated Mechanical Assembler Technicians with Material Handling experience. Our client's unique on-site power generation systems are among the most efficient on the planet, providing significantly reduced operating costs and producing dramatically lower greenhouse gas emissions.
There are day and night shifts available for this position.
The person in this role may also be responsible for manual component assembly, furnace operation, Quality Inspection and Automated Tool Operation of on-site power generation systems.
ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES
• Receive shipments, utilize binning rules to ensure proper organization.
• Verify and process received items.
• Crate and prep items for shipment.
• Utilize a database to track incoming and outgoing shipments.
• Complete tasks within standard times with minimum supervision.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
• 3 to 4 years of experience in a high-capacity manufacturing environment.
• Prior experience in Quality Control or Inspection. PCB experience is preferred.
• Strong ability to familiarize with operational procedures.
• Excellent hand and eye coordination is needed.
• Excellent dexterity is required. Attention to detail is a must.
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
• Good Attendance, Initiative, responsible follow through and a willingness to help.
• Ability to lift 45 pounds.
• Strong interpersonal skills and effective communicator.
• Must have computer skills, minimum Microsoft office.
• Valid Drivers License and reliable transportation is preferred.
• Must be able to work in a fast pace manufacturing environment.
• Must be flexible with changing shift or work schedule.
The work must be done on-site, so telecommuting will not be possible. As a W2 employee you will have access to health benefits.
