Travel Customer Service Representative (Florida)

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF EXCELLENCE
Respond to inbound customer phone calls about our products and services
Answer the caller's questions, determine their needs, and offer solutions to meet those needs
Educate callers about their insurance options, provide pricing, and help assist with the purchase
Serve as a subject matter expert on our products and services—you'll learn them inside and out, and stay up-to-date on new products and policy changes
Accurately enter pertinent customer data and research customer information
Provide excellent customer service at every touchpoint, and should you need help managing a customer’s concern, your manager will be there to help with resolution
Maintain regular, predictable, reliable attendance.
May perform other duties as assigned.
Compensation:
Up to $17.50 an hour base pay
Additional pay on top of base pay for evening and weekend hours
Uncapped monthly incentive with a department average of $600 monthly
Up to 2% of eligible earnings based on company performance
Job Functions
Key responsibilities which take no less than 10% of overall job time.
Regular, predictable, reliable attendance is an essential function of this position.
Respond to inbound customer inquiries via telephone.
Educating potential clients on their insurance options, providing quotes, and assisting with the purchase.
Identify customer needs and provide optimal or alternative product solutions to meet those needs.
Responsible for in-depth knowledge of products and services offered, learning about products and staying up-to-date on new product or policy changes.
Accurately enter pertinent customer data and research customer information.
Escalate customer concerns/issues to the Manager for resolution if all other means of satisfying the customer have been exhausted.
Demonstrated success in a sales based environment.
Able to complete a sale by addressing customer concerns, demonstrating empathy, and consistently moving the customer towards commitment.
May perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent diploma.
Six (6) to twelve (12) months in a customer service environment with previous success in a sales based environment preferred, but not required.
Possess superb customer service skills, a strong customer focus, and commitment to customer satisfaction.
Limited lines license to be obtained after hire [No testing required]
