The Channel Marketing Specialist (SSD, Memory Cards & Readers) is responsible for defining, implementing, and measuring marketing plans and demand generation programs for OWC and Newer Technology products across all B2B, Amazon, eCommerce, reseller, and distribution partners and channels. This includes all aspects of content and collateral creation, introduction and ongoing management of partner programs, direct marketing activities, awareness, and promotional campaigns, and both partner and channel events. You will also be responsible for channel pricing and promotional strategies across all channels in coordination with Sales and Operations based on available inventory in channel.
The Channel Marketing Specialist will work closely with both the Sales and Marketing teams to create and drive all SSD, Memory Cards & Readers channel initiatives. Will continuously deliver ROI reporting metrics on all executed activities and provide marketing reviews on a regular basis.

Duties/Responsibilities:
Responsibilities around Amazon included:
Set up and manage all Amazon sites with proper product information.
Manage global everyday pricing in coordination with product marketing.
Manage the promotional pricing at Amazon with resellers in the same region to avoid conflict.
Coordinate with operations on inventory and offer promotions on slower moving products.
Monitor and track the success of each promotion and perform ROI analysis.
Tracking and responding to customer reviews and inquiries.
Non-Amazon related responsibilities include:
Build relationships with regional marketing managers of major camera vendors including Panasonic, Canon, Nikon, RED and Blackmagic to join their social groups with their key customer base, advocating OWC and responding to inquiries.
Work with resellers to build an OWC specific page for OWC products.
Build relationships with major camera vendor's ambassadors and influencers.
Work with professionals to write blog posts about their experience leveraging OWC's products.
Write educational content so that people and professionals come to the OWC site.
Work with other resources on search engine optimization to keep OWC's products at the top of Google searches.
Assist in maintaining accurate revenue and inventory forecasts to efficiently support channel promotions.
Analyze promotional strategies to determine profitability and make recommendations for future needs.
Align channel marketing communications strategies with brand strategies.
Meet with senior management to develop regular and promotional pricing strategies.
Lead new product launch efforts by developing necessary collateral, communication strategy, merchandising, training tools, and other related activities.
Monitor and analyze competitor pricing, market and channel trends and adjust channel strategies accordingly.
Consistently convey market research, competitor positions and customer requirements to management on a timely basis.
Required Skills/Abilities:
3-5 years of B2B and Amazon channel marketing experience. Knowledge of SSD & Memory Cards would be a plus.
Solid understanding of consumer electronics products, services, and their competitive equivalents.
Understanding of both direct and indirect sales distribution channels, methods, and processes.
Flexible, detail-oriented self-starter who thrives in an entrepreneurial and fast-paced environment, operating both independently as well as part of a team.
Strong analytical, organizational, planning, forecasting, and budgeting skills.
Gain confidence and establish effective relationships with all levels of the organization.
Advanced PC and MAC skills with strong Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint experience.
Education Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in related field, MBA preferred
