Job Summary:
The Channel Account Executive will be responsible for managing the relationship between OWC and partner companies. In this role the Channel Account Executive will act as a front-line ambassador for OWC. This individual will be responsible for working closely with the marketing team and the sales team to drive revenue and bring more awareness to the company by utilizing their subject matter expertise. A pillar of this role will entail retaining partners and helping those partners to remain loyal to our brand. This role will help the company grow accounts, research and stay current on competitor strategies and maintain customer satisfaction.

Duties/Responsibilities:
• Build strong relationships with partners, vendors, and administrative staff that promotes loyalty, collaboration, and increased revenue between partners and the company.
• Increase revenue through existing business
• Support one of our largest and longest-standing partners
• Ascertain partner needs through observation and listening and recommend appropriate OWC solutions
• Be a strategic and innovative resource to partners, representing OWC effectively
• Establish and attend regular meetings with partners
• Utilize vendors, manufacturers, and internal resources to meet partner needs
• Remain current on product knowledge through attendance of sales meetings, vendor training, reading industry-related publications, and participating in industry-related professional organizations
• Address partner issues with partner service, credit, warehouse, or other company personnel or vendors in a professional and prompt manner
• Other duties as assigned
Required Skills/Abilities:
• Passionate about all aspects of selling
• Excellent sales & partner service attitude
• Ability to sell consultatively
• Strong negotiating skills with the ability to understand and overcome objections
• Proven success in building long-term and growing relationships with partners and co- workers
• Thorough follow-up and problem-solving skills
• Good business acumen
• Intermediate to advanced proficiency with MS Word, Excel, & Outlook
• Excellent communications skills, both written and oral
• Strong interpersonal skills: ability to work collaboratively with others

• 25% TRAVEL REQUIRED
Education and Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field
• 5 years sales experience in technology sales, through channel partners
• Experience in a reseller environment preferred
