Sr. Associate – Accounting & Reporting

We are looking for a dedicated, process-focused individual who will partner with NC3 senior management to help manage the day-to-day accounting operations of the business.
Management Responsibilities
• Coordination and communication of client billing processes with Sr. Management and NC3 project managers
• Manage client invoicing process and maintain adherence to billing/payment policies as outlined in NC3 client contracts
• Client data analysis and reporting
• Interface with client POC and procurement regarding billing issues and receivables
• Interface with NC3's external accounting firm regarding tax payments and cash management
• Work closely with NC3 Sr. Management to improve accounting practices and processes
• Manage part-time bookkeeper (20-25 hrs per week) who assists with check processing, data entry and filing
Additional duties will include:
• Data aggregation and analysis using MSFT excel functionality
• Management of all internal accounting within QB online
• Reconciliation of QB and bank accounts
• Management and payment of internal and external expenses
• Oversight of A/P & A/R
• Reconciliation of internal client expense tracking system with client accounts and QB
• Credit card reconciliation
Desired Skills and Qualifications:
• Advanced MSFT Excel skills - Pivot tables, functions, macros
• QuickBooks/QB online expertise
• Excellent listening, collaboration and communication skills
• BA/BS degree or equivalent (accounting preferred)
• Ability to be available via e-mail or cell phone outside standard work hours during high seasons
Candidate will be asked to oversee/manage a high volume of data/transactions where attention to detail and accuracy are of paramount importance. Position requirements are 40 per week with an opportunity for flexible scheduling or work from home during off peak times.
