Home Care Scheduling Coordinator

Job Summary: Home Care (HC) Scheduling Coordinator is responsible for coordinating high volume participant and caregiver schedules, fielding a wide variety of phone calls, and general administrative tasks. HC Scheduling Coordinator has availability for on-call duty as needed.
Education: High School Education required; associate degree preferred
Experience: Minimum one year of employment in an office setting
Licensure, Registry or Certification Required: NC Drivers’ License
Special Training: Must be able to work effectively in a team environment. Must possess excellent communication, interpersonal skills. Be knowledgeable in multiline computer operations and phone systems as well as excellent writing and reporting skills. Have at least one-year experience with the frail elderly population.
Immunizations: Be medically cleared for communicable diseases and have all immunizations up to date before engaging in direct participant contact.
Key Responsibilities
• Represents PACE of the Southern Piedmont with accurate and comprehensive information as requested by guests, visitors and staff.
• Develops and coordinates participant and employee schedules
• Confirms time in ADA Care
• Ensures appropriate staffing patterns under the direction of the Home Care Agency Supervisor
• Knows about and consistently follows confidentiality and privacy policies and procedures
• Knowledgeable of all PACE of the Southern Piedmont services
• Assists with completing participant surveys to assess satisfaction
• Participates in on-call duty after-hours and on weekends as needed
• Assists Home Care Agency Supervisor with delegated tasks
• Performs general administrative tasks
• Other duties as assigned
