Overview:
Corky’s Food Manufacturing is seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Inventory Control Specialist to join our team. The Inventory Control Specialist will be responsible for managing and maintaining accurate inventory records, conducting regular audits, and ensuring efficient utilization of resources. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, excellent analytical abilities, and a keen eye for detail.
Responsibilities:
- Inventory System Management:
- Maintain accurate inventory records through regular data entry and updates.
- Oversee inventory flow to ensure finished goods are accurately executed.
- Coordinate with procurement and warehouse teams to facilitate accurate bill of material into finished goods.
- Maintain product builds in warehouse management system.
- Auditing and Quality Control:
- Perform regular physical inventory count in a timely manner.
- Reconcile inventory discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Monitoring production bill of materials meets production goals.
- Reporting and Analysis:
- Evaluate dependency reports between production goals and the finished product.
- Analyze inventory data to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
- Provide insights and recommendations to management for inventory optimization strategies.
- Process Improvement:
- Identify inefficiencies in WMS and propose solutions for improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement process enhancements and best practices.
- Compliance and Documentation:
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures related to inventory management.
- Maintain accurate documentation of inventory transactions, adjustments, and movements.
- Assist in regulatory compliance audits related to inventory control.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor or Associate degree preferred.
- Proven experience in inventory management or related field.
- Strong proficiency in inventory management software and systems.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective communication skills with the ability to interact with stakeholders at all levels.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and precision.
