The Dispatcher is responsible for managing the daily customer service and dispatch functions for the ready-mix plants.
The focus in this role is to exceed the customer and company requirements for Customer Service, Quality, and Efficiency.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Schedule, dispatch and monitor truck activity
- Perform daily equipment walk around and site inspections
- Communicate with QC personnel and make required adjustments to mixes
- Monitor inventory levels
QUALIFICATIONS (EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE) AND REQUIRED SKILLS
3 to 5 years prior experience in the ready mix industry. Prefer prior dispatch experience
- Ready Mix experience preferred.
- Ability to present facts and recommendations effectively in oral and written form.
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Good communication and motivational skills.
- Must be able to work well under pressure.
- Experience using Sysdyne software, preferred.
- Microsoft Word and Excel applications experience and use.
