Position: Custodial Manager (Janitorial)
Location: Memphis, TN
Rate of Pay: Salary based on experience, starting at $50,000/K
Position Description:
Our expanding company is seeking to hire a Custodial Manager to join our
leadership team. Under the direction of the Project Manager, you will be
responsible for ensuring all janitorial duties are completed to standard, through
delegation and follow-up.
Examples of Work:
• Ensures that each employee has the necessary tools and equipment and
that all equipment is in safe and proper working condition.
• Ensure employees are completing daily tasks, such as cleaning restrooms,
office areas, sorting areas, sorting belts, etc.
• Conduct formal and informal inspections of all work areas
• Other duties as assigned such as assisting with janitorial duties as needed.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
• Proven experience in managing projects up to completion is required.
• Proven experience in janitorial services.
• Knowledge of organizational effectiveness and operations management.
• Strong supervisory skills with the ability to mentor, coach, lead, develop, and
evaluate staff.
Qualifications/Requirements: 2+ years in janitorial services and leadership
experience is preferred and applicants must, have a valid Driver's License, and a
clear motor vehicle record, and will also be required to pass a background check
and submit to a drug and alcohol screening.
