We care about giving people a better way forward – that’s our purpose and what motivates Fenner Dunlop employees every day. As the Maintenance person at Fenner Dunlop, you’ll keep machinery and equipment in good repair in order to keep production and fabrication functional at maximum efficiency.
Principal Duties
- Responsible for the safe maintenance, repair and replacement of plant equipment and systems, to ensure maximum productivity and quality.
- Performs preventative maintenance on machinery and reviews the operation of plant equipment to minimize unplanned downtime and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Implements programs and procedures required to ensure plant cleanliness.
- Monitors operation of plant equipment and systems and must have knowledge with 480 three phase voltage
- Coordinates with other supervisors, managers and employees at all levels to ensure commonality of purpose and direction.
- Make recommendations for improvement of function or efficiency of machinery and equipment in the plant.
- Perform a wide variety of general building maintenance repairs and services.
- Responsible for 24-hour emergency maintenance service as scheduled.
- Completes all Preventative Maintenance reports and updates them regularly.
- Assist in monitoring all work being performed by outside contractors.
- All other duties as assigned by Maintenance Manager
Scope of Responsibility
The Maintenance person will responsible for the maintenance of the equipment and major machinery in a manufacturing plant.
Required Experience/Education Requirements
- Minimum High School diploma or equivalent
- Minimum two years full-time maintenance experience
- Ability to work shifts, weekends, and/or overtime
- Capable of being flexible and adaptable
- Routinely stand, squat, and/or work in confined spaces
- Ability to lift 50 pounds on a regular basis
