Responsibilities
Summary
Fulltime CMM Operator supporting production in-process inspections and Final inspections in accordance with drawings, specifications, and regulatory procedures.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
• Work with chemicals such as: hydraulic fluids, solvents, machining fluids, corrosion preventative oils, etc.
• Follow directions both written & verbal.
• Maintain proficiency in all inspection techniques, tools, and equipment used within their assigned area of responsibility.
• Ensure inspection tools and equipment are in proper working order.
• Understand the current inspection specifications and procedures.
• Ensure all inspections are properly performed and recorded, and that all records are properly executed before final approval.
• Ability to utilize Quality programs, software, and required computer applications.
• Work to strict government regulations, internal policies, and procedures.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Create & maintain orderly and legible records.
• Maintain consistent customer service and quality of work standards.
• Read & understand component drawings and associated specifications.
• Work overtime as requested.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Knowledge and Experience
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or equivalent required. Technical school preferred.
• Minimum 1 -3 years experience in quality inspection/machining (Final, Source and in-process inspection) working in a manufacturing environment.
• Problem identification and resolution skills
• Experience with quality management systems compliant with AS9100 and knowledgeable of AS9102.
• First Article Inspection Report requirements preferred.
• Ability to apply geometry and trigonometry skills to solve problems and calibrate equipment.
• Excellent □ written and verbal communication skills with a strong customer focus
• Ability to build strong relationships with both internal stakeholders and external customers
Skills & Competencies
• Arithmetic: (perform basic shop math)
• Computer: (Microsoft office competency, perform basic data entry into excel, word, and quality software)
• Ability to understand mechanical concepts
• Vocabulary: (understand basic terminology used in the functional job area)
• Ability to effectively work in a team environment
• Ability to maintain consistent customer service and quality of work standards

Position Pay Range: $19.94 - $28.15/Hour. Hiring range and position pay range may differ, commensurate with education level, qualifications, and experience.
