SALES REPRESENTATIVE

The Sales Representative (Main Line) is responsible for selling vacation ownership products to prospective
customers in a professional and reliable manner.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Communicates to current and potential customers the advantages of vacation ownership and
the surrounding amenities.
Presents and sells vacation ownership products and services to current and potential
customers.
Walks with customers to preview the models and resort amenities, which may or may not
include eating with guests.
Identifies and resolves customer concerns during the transaction.
Attends daily sales meetings and educational activities to stay up-to-date on latest
developments in the timeshare industry.
Develops and maintains sales materials and current product knowledge.
Performs uninterrupted tours of the resort with potential customers, for approximately 3
hours per tour and up to 2 tours a day.
Percentage of Time 100%

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS (includes Education and Experience)
Relevant work experience with a HS Diploma or equivalent is preferred.
Requires the ability to calculate basic loan computations and equations efficiently, if necessary.
Must demonstrate professional interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively in both
written and verbal form, with a diverse workgroup to negotiate win-win solutions.
Must be able to demonstrate prompt, reliable and motivational demeanor at all times.
Requires excellent customer service skills with a strong emphasis on positive attitude and effective
communication skills.
Ability to complete a professional assessment created for Sales profiles.
Must be able to perform uninterrupted tours of the resort with potential customers for approximately 3 hours
per tour and up to 2 tours per day.
Requires a Nevada Real Estate or Timeshare License.
Organizational and leadership skills are required and a general professional appearance and attitude must be
maintained.
Must be able to work weekends, holidays and extended hours, if needed.
Must be able to meet profitable sales expectations on a daily, weekly and monthly basis.
DESIRED REQUIREMENTS
Previous timeshare sales or sales experience.
For specific sales teams, either Spanish or Portuguese may be required.

LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read, and analyze contract documentation following organizational protocols to meet business
goals.
Ability to write, read, effectively establish rapport, present information and respond to questions from
managers, and customers. Effectively communicate and interact with other employees and the public
through the use of personal contact and by telephone on occasion.
Ability to learn sales techniques and retain knowledge of the timeshare product.
Must possess the ability to listen and professionally answer customers’ questions and complaints.
MATHEMATICAL AND REASONING SKILLS
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, pro-rata, percentages and
volume.
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables.
Ability to interpret company reports, data/points and charts/graphs.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to
successfully perform the required duties. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly
required to sit, stand, walk, move, bend, kneel, carry, reach, handle, push and pull; use hands to finger, and
required to reach with hands and arms. The person in this position may be required to move tables and
chairs; move about inside the office, walk customers to and throughout timeshare property models. There is
some operation of a computer and other office equipment such as; a calculator, copy machine, printer and
scanner. Must be able to perform uninterrupted tours of the resort with customers, for approximately 3
hours per tour and up to 2 tours per day. The employee may be lifting up to 15 lbs. Specific vision abilities
required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus. Heels higher than two (2) inches are
not allowed. Requires the ability to sit for a minimum of 45 minutes for group sales presentations.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters
while in an office environment. The work is typically performed while sitting at a desk or table.
Must be able to withstand moderately loud noise levels throughout the work day.
Field work is required; sometimes in cold/hot or inclement weather.
Ability to work extended hours including nights, weekends and holidays and the ability to work multiple
tours per day.
