Analysis (ABA) therapy to children and families. Our mission is to create a nurturing
environment that promotes growth and success for every child. We are excited to
expand our services by opening a preschool focused on early intervention and
ABA-based strategies, and we are looking for a passionate and experienced Lead
Preschool Teacher to join our team.
Job Overview:
Weare seeking a dynamic and dedicated Lead Preschool Teacher/ Director who is
enthusiastic about working with young children in an early intervention setting. The ideal
candidate will have a deep understanding of early childhood education, as well as
experience incorporating ABA principles into classroom settings. You will be
instrumental in establishing and implementing the curriculum, creating a positive and
structured learning environment, and providing individual support to children as they
grow and develop. Services will be rendered onsite at our clinic in York, ME.
Key Responsibilities:
● Lead and manage a classroom of preschool-aged children with a focus on early
intervention and ABA principles.
● Collaborate with parents, behavior analysts, and other team members to support
each child’s development.
● Provide direct support to children, including implementing ABA techniques and
behavioral strategies to promote positive behaviors and academic progress.
● Maintain open and effective communication with parents and caregivers
regarding progress and behavior.
● Foster a safe, inclusive, and welcoming environment that encourages children’s
social, emotional, and cognitive development.
Qualifications:
● A Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field from an
accredited university (preferred).
● Experience in Special Education or Early Childhood (preferred)
● Previous experience working in a preschool or early childhood education setting.
● Experience with ABA principles or behavior management strategies (preferred).
● Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a team.
● Ability to develop and implement individualized learning plans for young children.
● A passion for working with children and making a positive impact on their
development.
