Job Summary
Register patients into Epic system, complete check-in process in person and via phone, verify insurance coverage, obtain required signatures, and collect co-payments. Balance daily payment entries against daily computer totals for all activities on patient account. Discuss balances with patients at check-in and/or check-out time. Review and maintain EPIC workqueues. Administrative tasks as assigned by supervisor including but not limited to scanning, pre-scrubbing of accounts to identify missing information, importing consent forms into EHR, collecting disability forms and fees.
Minimum Qualifications
1-2 years check-in, registration, insurance verification experience in medical office setting. 1-2 years clerical support in a medical office setting. Broad knowledge of insurance carriers, computer literate, self-starter, highly motivated candidates with excellent and outgoing customer service skills required. Will consider equivalent combination of education and experience.

Job Type: Full-time, 40 hours
Pay: $17.75 - $26.38 per hour
Expected hours: 8-hour shift, Monday-Friday

Licensed Practical Nurse
Job Standard/Operational Needs:
Responsibilities include greeting and rooming patients, reviewing Meaningful Use metrics in EPIC, taking vital signs, setting up injections, removing sutures/staples, and applying and changing dressings. The nurse will also assist with appointment scheduling, chart preparation, image order completion, stocking rooms, and sterilizing instruments. EMR proficiency, ability to multitask, critical thinking skills, and flexibility are imperative.
Minimum Qualifications:
NYS licensed/registered LPN. Current CPR certification through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross is required. Prior office and orthopedic experience preferred but not required.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.81 - $34.22 per hour, $1500 sign on Bonus – terms may apply.
Expected hours: Monday-Friday 7:45am - 5:00 pm and evening hours, as needed.
